MJ: This Is It ... I Still Can't Believe He's Gone ... :'(

Went 2 see the rehearsal movie this morning, prepared for ... I dunno ... reminiscing ... the flash ... style ... charisma ... etc. Got all that and then some. I read Chris What's-His-Name's review in the Post on Thursday, and got the feeling the movie was so-so. NOT! I loved watching the meticulous precision he commanded from the performers (and they DID perform) and crew in some of the scenes. I couldn't believe the smooth, magical moves they made. Just awesome. I'm not gonna 'tell' y'all the movie; just go see it. I went w/a group of girlfriends and we caught it for $6 at 10:45 am at the Georgetown Loew's theater. Not much of a crowd at that time of day--I'm sure there were pre-Halloween parties going on Friday night and NO one wanted to get up early on a drizzly, overcast Saturday morning!

Altho I'd never seen Michael perform live (I was a HUUUGE Prince fan back in the day and was busy following him hither & yon ... lol), and this made me miss the opportunity that much more. Ahh, well ... gone waaaayy 2 soon is all I can say at this juncture. Naturally, I'll order the DVD and watch it over & over, just 2 reminisce and marvel at the talent he was and will never be duplicated. 8-)
