Well, I am new to modding and racing, but I opted for 17" wheels in the beginning as sort of a compromise between performance and looks. I did however at least spend a good deal of money on light wheels, Volk LE37T's to be exact, and they supposedly…

justin, I have had a 15% pulley for 4 years now without an OCC or colder plugs w/o ill effects. I recently even took my intercooler off and there was no oil build up. Here is what the Old Skool mentality was: 15% pulley, Cold Air Intake, and Exhaus…

You are right about the lightend crank pully!! they will damage the motor if you are looking for smoother accel. and deccel. go with the lightened fly wheel!! bambam said:As with anything it all depends on how much money you have to spend. I have i…

There are a few things you can do still, a 15% supercharger pully is one way to add about 20hp to your MINI. There are several schools of thought on the pully; they come in 15, 17, 19% and I believe a few sizes inbetween. One concern with a 19% pull…

Hey L, From what I read it is a hardware install that only boosts the signal from the accelerator to the throttle. It doesn't sound like it would interfere with any ECU remaps that you have done. I wonder of you could email the manufacturer and chec…

Thanks, B. It's this line that I'm wondering about: "Of course, there is nothing stopping you from adding this to your ECU upgraded car for an all-around performance gain!" I guess I'd like to know how it just tacks itself onto whatever ECU remap…

Here is the link to the SprintBooster site, http://www.sprintboostersales.com/whyitworks.cfm . It looks like it basically boosts the signal from the accelerator to the throttle for quicker response. The following are the basic faqs from the website…

I quite enjoy the steptronic trans, especially on roads like the Dragon. My hubby enjoys it too! I think some people underestimate it, but to each their own! Once I am out of warranty, I will get the ECU/flash upgrade to make it more smooth transitions. That's why MINIs are such great friends! :-)

Custom painted Flik Bullets. Powdercoated red first, then matte black. They're discontinued of course. Edgeracing is out of business.

Hey....My towhook is stainless steel and competition certified I think. It's made by Rennline. A bit on the expensive side though.
