cool! i like older cars. ive had a VW Corrado G60 that i modded and a mk1 VW GTI. those older cars have so much character.
Haha yeah it's a great little FUN car like the MINI. Slightly less practical but fun in a way that's even more raw....allows me to put stuff like a Momo steering wheel without worry about Airbag lights, etc.. yet it's still a very safe car. Paid $3K…

Got my latest mod last Friday
Well my MINI has seen better days. It's going to be sitting for awhile until I have enough money to replace the clutch, axles, tires, and possibly exhaust. Just spent way too much money on it so far.
Here's my new ride for now.
1988 Toyota MR2
No power steering, no ABS, no airbags, rear wheel drive..kinda primitive but fun none the less. Found it on Craigslist. 68,000 miles for a 21 year old car. Handles wonderfully. Putting on some Nittos tomorrow.

- Well the worst finally happened. My cylinder 1 is blown. I don't think it's a coincidence that I've had random misfires since i've owned this car in cylinder 1, nor that the reason I was able to buy this car was because he blew the spark plug in cylinder 1.
So Minicorsa found there was no compression in cylinder one, and now he's tearing the engine apart to find out what exactly is wrong with my engine. While it's a big deal, I'm eager to finally get this fixed once and for all.

- Thanks guys! I'm glad to be here. Always fun to talk MINIs with others. I'm actually at MINICorsa right now to fix some problems. Fortunately two of them have been found..new coilpack and wires and new valve cover gasket. Why I'm running at 233deg in 94 deg weather isn't quite fiugred out yet.
